Residential house near Vicenza

The intervention involved the expansion and renovation of a villa built in the 1960s located halfway up the slope of the hill. There was the typical distribution with the residential part on the first floor which was accessed via an external staircase, on the ground floor there was the rustic annex. The project called for the entire property to become residential and to join the two floors with an internal staircase that rises into a double-height environment. To underline the double-height living room, two large openings have been opened which allow you to enjoy the hills. Also in the living room is the fireplace. For the exteriors, preference was given to the use of stone alternating with plastered parts. The works also redefined all the external areas and the entrance. Thanks to energy saving strategies, the property went from energy class E to A4. It should be noted that the external thermal insulation covering is made of glass wool which, thanks to a cap, allowed the stone covering to be glued onto it.
